IWF-DC Program honoring Barbara Barrett: Pilot, Astronaut, Rancher, Businesswoman, Ambassador, Presidential Appointee, IWF Leader

The term "Renaissance Woman" does not do justice to Barbara McConnell Barrett, our guest and honoree for the January IWF-DC virtual program.

She is a pilot, trained astronaut, cattle and bison rancher and has been an executive of two Fortune 500 companies and served on the board of dozens, as well as a U.S. Ambassador and an adviser to 5 U.S. Presidents. Currently, she is the 25th U.S. Secretary of the Air Force.

Winner of the Horatio Alger Award, Barbara raised five siblings, beginning at the age of 13 after her parents died. A longtime supporter of advancing women, Barbara is committed to making a difference. As a former President of IWF Global, she helped forge a path for international growth of the organization we know and love.

IWF DC member, Susan Davis, President of Susan Davis International and a former President of IWF Global, will be our host, exploring with Barbara the many aspects of her exciting life. . . . what she has learned and what has motivated such a diverse career.

Don't miss this provocative session, and a chance to honor Barbara for her accomplishments and for her service to IWF and the nation.
