Membership Qualifications
Membership in International Women's Forum Arizona Is by Invitation Only
Membership Consideration
Each candidate must have a sponsor and a co-sponsor who are members of IWF Arizona. The sponsor must complete the nomination form which includes a bio and photo. Information on the nomination form is to be detailed and as descriptive as possible. The Membership Committee will rely on the information on the nomination form to consider a nominee’s membership. For example, when describing civic engagement, state the level, and nature of the candidate’s involvement, such as did they serve on a board? Did they chair an event?
Nominations are required to be submitted by May 30th and will then be reviewed by the Membership Committee and the Board of Directors for membership consideration.
Membership Qualifications: Women Who Exemplify Excellence in the Following Areas:
- Career Achievements: present position, career history and career progression
- Expertise: preeminence in her field locally and statewide, nationally or globally
- Impact and Influence: leader and/or thought leader in her company, field or industry
- Involvement and Commitment: community and statewide, nationally or globally
- Commitment to Advancing Women
- Engaged in Professional Organizations
- Board Service: current or previously held
- Potential to Contribute to our Forum (committees, events, etc.) and to Benefit from IWF
- Will Commit to Attend One IWF Conference a Year
2026 Recruiting Priorities are:
- Under-Represented Industries
- Statewide Presence
- Authentically Reflect the Rich Cultures & Talents of Our State
Sponsor and Co-Sponsor May Consider:
- In the nomination, address how you know the candidate and her preeminence in all areas listed above
- Encourage participation to an upcoming IWF Arizona program and/or event
- Introduce her to other IWF Arizona members
- Please note that membership is not automatically granted upon nomination
